SPI Label

A Service Parts Identification (SPI) label is a sticker affixed during assembly to provide a list of factory installed options and equipment.  Using the RPO codes listed, this label provides a repair center or technician the information needed to correctly identify the components and assemblies installed at the factory.

This label can also be used to verify the authenticity of factory optioned models.  The codes will show the specific option packages installed such as Formula (Y82), Trans Am (Y83) or GTA (Y84) beyond the basic Firebird (Y81).
